In general, the delineation of an electric powered power scheme includes some phases. Foremost, Power Plants as a source of Power. Then, high voltage transmission lines are utilized to move power from one place to another (ie. power plants to power substations). Power substations with their step-down transformers are established for reducing the voltage to apt levels to be circulated. As a last stage, circulation schemes are used to give the customer his need of electrical energy. All these stages are shown in the figure above.
